A limited number of scholarships are available for international participants to support their economy-class international travel to Shanghai. Priority will be given to students from developing countries with outstanding academic performance, whose research aligns closely with the summer school’s theme, and those who apply early.
A limited number of CSC scholarships are available for non-Chinese international participantsas partial support for their living expenses during the summer school. The scholarship amount will be around 1,500 yuan, subjected to the final decision of CSC. Recipients of other CSC scholarships are not eligible for this funding. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The summer school does not charge tuition fees.
Participants are responsible for covering their own transportation, health insurance, accommodation, and living expenses during the summer school.
No scholarship is available to support local accommodation.
The temporary campus card can be used for dining in the University’s canteen, but please note that you will be charged 120% (an additional 20% fee) of the listed price.This policy applies to all temporary campus card. Without this card, you will not be able to buy food from the University’s canteen, but you can also purchase food outside the University.
You will be charged a non-refundable fee of 20 RMB for the temporary campus card.
